Emergency Helpline Services Restored: Numbers 100 and 112 Resume Normal Operations in Andaman & Nicobar Islands
The Andaman & Nicobar Police have informed the public that the technical issues affecting the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS-112) have been successfully resolved and emergency helpline services have resumed normal operations. According to a public advisory issued by the police, emergency numbers 100 and 112 are now fully functional and available for public use. The advisory stated that residents can once again contact the emergency helpline numbers in the event of any emergency requiring immediate police assistance. The police also expressed appreciation for the cooperation and understanding shown by members of the public during the temporary disruption of services.
